It seems we both dislike each other's accents and crack dumb jokes about having sex with common animals.

Gotta love how the rest of the world thinks Aussies are all convicts, bogans and bushmen.

Right there are actually two of these ad's and infact there are two counter ad's. They were all created for the Gruen Transfer (http://www.abc.net.au/tv/gruentransfer/) a television show on the Australian Broadcasting Commission. Anyway they are all a big joke obviously here is the entire segment for the Invade New Zealand (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Iv8bkYKbMo0)and here is the counter Anti Australian Tourism (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UfY7VzO0AFI&feature=related) hope you get a laugh out of them all.

haha its quite funny how no one else understands the kiwi-aussie relationship, its like two brothers really. We give each other hell for any mistakes and quirks but at the end of the day there is no one we'd rather have across the ditch of our respective countries.

Us kiwis love australia... But ofc New Zealand is better :D

Yeah, it was shown on the Gruen Transfer, as a mock ad designed to persuade the public that we should invade NZ.

The week after, they reversed the deal, and did an ad explaining why going on holiday in Australia is a bad idea.

Canberra Bureau Report Australian Defence Business Review

Defence Minister Faulkner met in Sydney 30 September with his New Zealand counterpart, Dr Wayne Mapp, to discuss a range of shared defence interests and security challenges. The Ministers subsequently announced a series of new ANZAC initiatives to further strengthen Closer Defence Relations (CDR), including, the joint (ADF & NZDF) formation of a Pacific-focused Rapid Reaction Force to respond to regional contingencies,
including humanitarian assistance and disaster relief. The subject force is to regularly
train and exercise together, and be able to deploy at short notice, in parallel with efforts to revitalise the two nations’ Airlift Agreement in order to effect an efficient ANZAC airlift capability. Furthermore, enhancement of trans-Tasman information communication
technology is to be given priority over the next 12 months, as a means to facilitate joint contingency planning and closer operational cooperation. The two Ministers further reviewed their national capability development programs, with a view to co-ordinating
ANZAC acquisition processes wherever possible. Dr Mapp briefed Senator Faulkner on the status of the New Zealand Defence Review 2009, with the Ministers agreeing the conduct of their respective defence review processes constituted a timely opportunity to strengthen
ANZAC ties, both at the strategic and tactical levels. ANZAC spirit revived in talks.
New Zealand has also filled the Deputy Director position at the Asia Pacific Civil Military Centre of Excellence (Queanbeyan, NSW) by way of the appointment of Dr Jim
Rolfe, formerly a principal adviser in the Ministry of Defence, and thus similarly resourcing a direct NZ link into Australia’s new Deployable Civilian Capacity (DCC)
program (see ‘New disaster relief force by 2012’ above). The Ministers also discussed the necessity for continuing to support security and stability in East Timor and the
Solomon Islands, and returning stability to Afghanistan.
