That FOB is well done, I like the toilets and shrapnel barriers around the units (seem a bit short though).

I notice that some of the PR hesco is ontop of BF2 hesco, what's the deal with that?

You'll understand the purpose of that when you walk around the FOB. ;-)

Well, it's a 16p size inf only mesh right now, i did it more for testing purposes to make sure i don't run into any problems later on (that and because when i test on my own, it get's a bit boring after a while, without anything to shoot at).

I have to re-do it anyways because i already changed so many things since i did the navmesh. But yeah, it's almost done and i hope it'll be fully navmeshed, including vehicle support, when we release. It'll have at least some decent infantry bot support though, that's for sure. :-)

From the top off my head, there'll be at least 1 map in 0.9 with dusk setting. I'll keep the daytime setting for this one, but i'm going to do a couple of small tweaks here and there, i'm not 100% happy yet. :-)

Yea, GB is a placeholder. The plan was always to have the German Forces on the map, but the map is pretty much ready now, while the GF need some more work.

Taliban are already very strong in that valley, it would be totally irresponsible to not move ISAF troops in asap. Time to get boots on the ground! ;-)

Lol yeah, it's also quite subjective in general.

To expect total realism from a game is plain silly, the best to hope for is something relatively more realistic than the current standard.

There's a lot of different elements to 'realism' in games as well, ranging from little details (correct equipment etc.) to engine graphics and physics.

I couldn't wait so I looked closer at this image:

There's a decent on the left side between the inner and outside walls where you can see some vanilla hesco, leading me to believe there is an underground area.

Guesses as to why you used that hesco and not the PR hesco ontop of it:
- It's part of one large static or multiple statics that you're using to create the bunker.
- It's meant to be dirtier/muddier below so the vanilla hesco's appearance represents that.
