ive had some pretty action going on muttrah tonight. It was 6 vs 6, though we did great job.i was playing as US, i took m14, other took other things...i wasnt telling pilot nothing. Then he took of, went to the crane, dropped me off , others were off on ground.Without telling pilot what to do, he did it all pro style.

Then i was guarding docks, and shooing every body who came to AA, so they could arrive with no problems.Everything was perfect..but sum of best ppl disconected...(including that pilot)...that was bad

You dont find so good pilot everyday, but they make game better than never

What about you?

I'm not so good in the black hawk, but I can head shot people with the armed little bird.

I'm also rather good with the cobra.

The other day I had a good pilot of the Tactical Gamer server by the name of Ratman? He flew the littlebird really nice, and always came to you if you needed a ride.

"who doesent get lag on al basra"

...then dont fly, when i get lag i wouldnt risk other players time and the teams tickets by trying to fly through it.

once I was in a squad with this one excellent pilot. He would always circle the battle zone waiting to extract us should things get dicy, and one time when we were retreating the SL chucked a smoke, told the guy to extract us there, and he landed right on top of it

But not yet I would say. If the aircraft are really getting an overhaul, then don't you think we should hold off on that idea until everyone re-learns how to fly? :-P

seriously, whenever you have an experienced BH pilot, squad play goes from awesome to sickly gnarled with uber awesomeness ;-)

100% agreed. Once I played on a SpecOps squad and the pilot KNEW EXACLTY what he was doing, it was a really enjoyable experience haha. But well, I usually play "without wings".

OFF: where's the "quick reply" function btw?

Its at the Bottom of the page

A good Pilot Can Help on Maps, but the Pilot alone cannot win a War, (unless its a Nuke but thats another matter) Sometimes when ive flown ive had Probs with AAA and would Request to my SL if he can Begin some Anti-AAA Operations and all i got was "why?"

I dont have lag and I only have 1.5 gig of ram plus im running vista :p
Okay, lightmaps are off and textures are medium but it works :D Need to get more ram though.

But I would say I'm a great pilot since I started flying DC choppers back in the day.
I can fly pretty good but Im not good at dogfights or at avoiding AA missiles :|

The choppers should descend quicker.
Its a pain in the arse when you try to land a full chopper in a hot LZ.

Personally, I think the choppers should go down when you release the engine thrust.
Then add a separate key for hovering mode like the UH60 had in DC_Final.
Just my opinion though.
