About the 2012 MOTY Awards

So you want to vote in ModDB.com's "Mod Of The Year 2012" (MOTY) for your favorite modifications? Well, this page has all the information you need to know about voting.
This page provides information on how ModDB.com's MOTY voting works during Phase 2 of voting. If you already voted during Phase 1, you will be required to vote again during Phase 2, since the votes were reset at the end of Phase 1. With a registered account, you can vote for an unlimited number of mods during Phase 2, so pick all your favorite mods from 2012.
Registered members votes are worth more than guest votes, so if you want your vote to count, login to your ModDB.com account or create a new account before voting. The longer your account has been registered, the more points your vote(s) will be worth.

How To Vote

Step 1:
|
Log in to an existing ModDB.com account. If you do not have an account, register one - it is free, quick and easy.

Step 2:
|
Next, navigate your browser to the Top 100 - 2012 Mod of The Year Awards page.
|
|
Step 3:
|
You should now see a list of game titles in two sections: "Released Mods of 2012", which includes all the top 100 mods that have been released, and "Upcoming Mods of 2012" which includes all the top 100 unreleased mods. When you click on each game title, a list of the mods for the corresponding game will appear, like "Project Reality: Battlefield 2" which is under the "Battlefield 2" title.

Step 4:

To Vote for a mod, click the game title the mod is under in the correct section to expand it, then click on the "VOTE" button next to the mod you wish to vote for.

Step 5:
|
Once you have voted for a mod the "VOTE" button will turn to "VOTED" and your all done.
|
Example: If you wish to vote for Project Reality: Battlefield 2, scroll down to the "Released Mods of 2012" section, expand the "Battlefield 2" tab and click the "Vote" button next to the Project Reality: Battlefield 2 title.
