Well, we want to get more people up on our channel right? But maybe you don't know what mIRC is, or how to get on it. K, well for those of you that don't know much about it, I will offer you some help. lol - I made it as simple as I could. You only have to do this the first time. One of the steps I have will make your mIRC automatically join the #projectreality channel so you'll never have to do anything again except open mIRC. It'll take maybe 5 or 10 minutes to setup, but then you're golden.

If you don't want to, you don't have to bother with registering. If you don't, you can't get privilages assigned automatically when you join, but other than that it makes no difference really.
p.s. mIRC is ugly. I've never used it before, and hadn't noticed until I looked at those screens... |

Tom also showed me a cool little script to install called 'Invision' that made the interface more friendly. You can look for that if you're interested - but make sure you install the script AFTER installing mIRC and BEFORE you setup all your settings (because it resets the settings).

irc is very easy. just has a steep learning curve, which takes about 3 minutes to figure out.
