I think we should go for the same layout as the blackhawk, with 3 crew and 6 passengers. 2 crew being gunners. This is an almost perfect layout and allows for some intense drop off and runs to pick up to pick up the other lot.
I have always loved the lynz, holds a spcial place in my heart. |

I have just come back off work-ex at the Band of the Army Air Corps, we went in the lynx (in the hanger) and it had 2 pilot seats then behind, 3 seats and another 3 seats behind but there are no door gunners, however there are varients that have a mounted GPMG
Will the lynx be able to a back flip and rolls etc, like it can in real life? |

probably, the same as all of the choppers
i think it should have the same layout as the blk hwk put have the gunners at the doors and the 4 (optional) seats in the middle |

[EDIT]
sorry, forgot to give HUGE props to [R-DEV] JS.Fortnight.A for the model.. nice work, with your skills the BERP should be no problem to ad..??? [/EDIT] Quote:

Second, loss of engine power should lead to pilot being forced to perform auto-rotation landing, probably not doable due to game-engine Third, yes, the Lynx has the world speed record. But it stands at 400,87km/h or something.. and it’s made with a ripped out version featuring the BERP blade..(British Experimental Rotor Programmes) It does have ability to cruise at high speeds though, but with any real payload or troops inside, it should be more like.. 290km/h.. and with that should come some terrible noise so it can be heard over like half the map.. | |||

"irst, if the helicopter has forward speed the loss of tail rotor does not = loss of control and spinning.. " - i alsoways thought that with out the tail rotor and the main rotor spinning i owuld cause the heli to also spin, becuase of rotations of the rotor and the force it then excerts on the amin body of the heli.
O, but i sort of see that if it was goign forwed like a conventional propeller aircraft it might not spin cos you dont see spitfires doing constant rotations on it axis's. So if a hovering heli has its tail rotor destroyed then would it spin? I also agree with you on the noice factor, it owuld be alot better if they where louder, BF2 mpas are not that big and i can hear helis from my house really clearly even though they are along way away. Strike fear in to you, if you could hear the sound of an apache approching! |
