It Works! Road to Kyongan'Ni Beta v1.1

That's right. If anyone would like to host this map on their rotation, it has not yet been configured to AAS and most likely will have trouble with your AAS scripts. Please provide feedback below. I am very interested in gameplay questions. I've yet to render final lightmaps or download the 700 meg bundle for rendering object lightmaps so don't worry about static object lighting at this time. Run around, shoot eachother, and see how the whole mess plays out. ("It Works!" means that I can host my own server and then connect to it with the client.) |

I think you've done a GREAT job on this map! Previous version didn't work for me. This one works on my test server just great.
Some OUTSTANDING ideas. I love the idea of the bridge as an objective. I never saw a flag pole there. I would love to see more of that in BF2, in particular in a PR setting. Capturing a bridge, building, etc without the flagpole is a lot more immersive. I guess the flagpole does serve some visual purpose, but .. particularly in the case of a bridge .. it kinda detracts from the immersion factor. I would go so far as to say all 3 bridges could be objectives, each one starting out neutral. I did notice one minor glitch with the wall on the river on the South side of the river there's a gap in between the foot of the wall and the earth below it. I really think you should put the effort into polishing this up (lightmaps, loading screen etc) as I think this will be a great map and am looking forward to getting some play testing, tweaking and including it in a future map pack. GREAT JOB! Look forward to playing it "in angst". egg |

I will try to convince realfritz to put this on the test server! also i think this deserves to be in the map pack! IMO this map blows all the other maps away (with the exception of steel thunder, however this map is definitely better than steel thunder) |
