We aren't removing the USMC. What Slick is talking about by renaming USMC to US is allowing us a broad range of US equipment in the mod. Think of it as the US Armed Forces. That means we get to put in stuff from several branches and not have people moan and cry about the proper usage of the stand issue wrench in the military and what not.

I think you missed my point. We are trying not to be confined to either the US Army or the USMC. We are simply changing the US faction to be just that, the US Armed Forces. Some maps (obviously carrier maps) with have the USMC and their equipment, and other maps will have the US Army and their equipment.
