I haven't seen anyone mention it but I would like to see a different Icon for rifleman and grenadier in the squad screen.
When joining a squad you can not tell the difference and have to ask and that takes precious time in some battles. Just a little tweak but an important one I think. |

I'd like to see different icons for all kits. Really would help if you're squad leader.

Yeah that is needed for a lot of the kits. I don't think the difference between marksman and sniper or heavy and light AT is that important but the AP, rifleman, and grenadier all having the same symbol is annoying. A crewman/pilot and officer icon would be nice too.

They most likely would have addressed this by now if they could.
I posted this last year. Hehe. The best thing to do when someone joins a squad is to report to the SL, and then have them issue you a kit. They should be able to tell you what they need, unless they are not paying attention to their squad. |

I know PoE changed one icon for the pickup MMG so I know it can be done. Funny thing is that they didn't do it to any other kits.

Maybe just First initials of the class could work out, kinda like GRAW on 4 player split screen. The players have either an A, G, M, or R for Automatic Rifleman, Grenadier, Marksman, and Rifleman respectively.
I could see.... keep the spec ops symbol R (rifleman) G (grenadier) AP (Rifleman Anti-Personnel) ...i forgot the rest of the classes, but you get the point. Then again, how would the insurgents' kits look? |

It might be impossible to change the icon. However, its not an easy change, that much is known.

Also another icon for AA would be cool... especially for insurgents.
