i searched and didnt find this, so dont flame me if its already been suggested. how about a tv camera player controlled slow flying predator drone?

Instead of a player controlled vehicle I would opt for a replacement for arty on the big open maps. You would see it sweep down and fire rockets at the selected position then sweep back up into an orbital position.

Nah the only thing remotley like this that would be good, I saw a star wars mod do it. You call a target in, and 2 bot jets fly overhead in combat formation and bomb a target, it looked friggin sweet.

Why would you need an airborne eye in the sky view in some sort of vehicle?

Just use the zoom mode.....

Its an interesting idea, though perhaps with a "Tank" style zoom function.

Technically controleld by one player, and the "Cam" moved by the commander would be interesting.
I can't think of a way it could be implemented though, haivng the commanders "perspective" being in the vehicle without him "physically" being in there and subject to "death" on destruction of the drone.

Trouble is, this will interfere in the job a commander has to do too much in my opinion. Use your squads for intel and your own satellite view.
If commanders do anything aside from commanding, they should be quitting and leaving it to someone else to do.

off topic but.....
Commanders dont have the "toys" in the lack of independent arty (a good thing in PRMM), however discover VOIP commanding, and you will be -very- appreciated.
Even just information for your squadleaders is more useful than "come on squads... work harder" type of comments.

Anti Res measure just spam the entire sky with UAV's. In the manner of barrage ballons.
