I think that body armor, distances, one's ability to move after having one's armor withstand gunshots, and where bullets hit should be factors in gameplay.

Soldiers don't wear helmets for show. A silenced pistol round to the helmet most likely would not penetrate.

Anything that goes towards realism away from BF2 is a plus IMO. That said PRMM games can be bloody awful where as BF2 games can merely be bad.
In time this won't be an issue but PRMM dictates a lot more attention to detail with regards to map design then is currently present. The combination of a higher damage model and not enough cover or too many vehicles or too many choke points can ruin a map and gameplay. That said the main thing to remember is PRMM is still growing so everything will be out of sync for a while. |
