I have done some testing on local server and I found a few things which are confusing me. Can someone test them too to see if I am mistaken?
I tried to compare (with a simply and not very scientific method) recoil of some small arms and It looks to me that QBZ has almost the same recoil as AK47 (it is bigger then m16 recoil) and that there is no significant difference between recoil in various stances (with any weapon). Also there is almost no difference in recoil when shooting through ironsights/optic or simply from hip. Maybe are this things intentional, or I should have sleep more then 6 hours as I was only hallucinating.

Recoil can not change based on stance, unfortunately. Its a hard-coded thing.

recoil is supposed to change on stance. i mean its a constant but when crouching the weapon is better controlled than when standing and therefore you should see some difference

I was sure firing from prone, especially with something like the SAW, is more accurate than standing. | |

I think thats to do with the devation rather than the recoil. dont quote me on it though.

Yes. Deviation can be adjusted depending on stance. Recoil can NOT.

Thank for answer. It seems that recoil is not affected by stance. But it should be significantly affected by zoom/nonzoom or not?

Yeah, there's Deviation in PR but it's the only way. I think it's only there for LMG's though, so don't cry!
Basically it's there so you can't go rambo with it, however when you're prone you can fire all day long and the bullets will hit where you aim it - for the LMG. Even in single shot/burst with LMG whilst standing/crouch it's still accurate. Only long sprays are innacurate and have devation whilst standing. From what i've noticed. |

The way I see it is that Recoil is ALWAYS the same.
Let me explain: You hold the rifle standing and fire. The recoil will push you back. You hold the rifle crouching and fire. The recoil will push you back. You hold the rifle while prone. The recoil will push you back. The recoild will be the same, but your accuracy won't. This is becuase your weapon is more steady when leaning against something (body or ground). Your recoil will be the recoil of the bullet you are firing. (5.75 [I don't know]) Your recoil will only change when you change the type of bullet. e.i. .50 |
