Just wondering, is the 0.4 squad bug fixed?

Say, you are probably familiar with the squad bug that existed in 0.4? It sometimes happened that only 2 squads could be created. If you tried to create a new squad, nothing happened, you could click the 'new squad' button a thousand times, still nothing. This was really, really frustrating as you'd lose almost everytime it happened

Anyhow, as far as I know it was a 0.4 bug and I'm wondering if that has been fixed

(please don't tell me it's a bf2 bug, i'll feel like an idiot

I'm 99% sure its a bf2 bug, but thers always that 1% that might be wrong. Lets just say its... probably fixed... i think... maybe... can i say that?...

Yeah, maybe. But I never experienced it on vanilla though.
Come to think of it, I have never experienced anything on vanilla

I haven't played vBF2 in a very long time, but I did play it quite a bit before PR released and I never once ran into the squad bug.

Probably something a newer patch broke when it was released by DICE.

I did when i use to play it. and ye like katan said, they fecked it up with a patch, like most things

Ye, so sad. It's all because of the dollarsigns in their eyes: "hey, it compiles! release it!"

Ah well, PRMM is what BF2 should have been. Nevertheless, I like it the way it is now. With the image EA has build up, don't expect them to openly discuss a game like the PR devvers do. Can't wait for PR to go from a BF2 mod to a standalone game (might this ever happen). And oh yes, I am willing to pay for that! See my dollarsigns, EA??

I'm guessing I'm just a bit frustrated

Actually I believe people have theorised that the bug seems to be related to ModManager and BF2CC, but I don't know if that was ever confirmed.

We tried to reproduce it in testing v0.5, but never found a way to make that happen.
