abandan was an awesome map , actually you can win with mecs , just take the brt and rush to the harbor , if you take the harbor , the round is gained

and I dont see more desbalance in abandan than mutrah

If they MEC wins on Abadan then the US must be jerking off at the chopper spawn. There's no way MEC can win if both teams are evenly skilled. The MEC don't even have a tactical advantage based on environment.

ye, with its current setup USMC start off with I think a tank, 2 APCs, a chopper, boads and nummers. All MEC get is a APC a few jeeps. then the 2nd flag on USMCs list, which aint very far for them to go and have 90% chance of getting that flag before MEC dose gives them more tools to play with, like anouther tank, AAVs, etc....

If the tems have a even amount of skilled players etc, USMC will win every time.

I liked abadan if people miss it that much im sure it could be re-jigged for v6.

I see what your saying about the balance, but plenty times I saw USMC pushed back to the bridge/ main base with MEC raping it. I actually really liked that map. oh well plenty more good ones.

The thing with Abadan is it's the samething each round. If MEC want to get past waterfront they have to instantly rush to harbour with a full squad, while other squads head to construction and waterfront.

The squad that gets to harbour has to mine the entrance and secure the perimeter. If you do this you can easily take harbour. But the MOMENT you spawn you have to head to harbour in a vodnik or else you wont make it in time.

Abadan in it's current state is way to overplayed and because of that boring to me

Yea, I know what you mean. The map is not even realistic either in its layout(only the inner MEC city is) and PR will never be the game it is suppose to be without having more realistic and balanced maps. When you can spawn kill the enemy from the bridge or one side of the map, you know something is wrong.
