Yes we're well aware of the situation, we are testers. The chances may be low though so maybe we should just wait until July and be properly prepared for it rather than rush things.

Well i would not go that far, rather just alittle aninimosity, but by george when did alittle rivaly do any one any harm at all! Seriously, Fresh's virtual carcase will do! But on a much more deadly sober note, i am jking!


I also do agree with you, that we should wait. 0.6 deserves something spectacular in terms of battles, quality of players, a massive event ext. and i believe this would be a fitting confermation!

Late July or very early June shoudl provide the time required to organize all the necessary server and clan things, in game tactics and most importantly, for 0.6 to be released in all its BUG "FREE" and MSSIVE DOWNLOAD SIZE GLORy|||||

1 Grab a SAW
2 Find the highest hill/building around a flag
3 Move there, stay there, Spot, call out, attack marker... SAW!
4 For god sake go from high ground to high ground! NOT bottom of a valley to open field to gully!

Late June or Early July is realistic for v0.6 and I'd love to join in on a large "serious but for fun" battle. Maybe make it a best of 3 event on Kashan Desert lol .. would love to see 9 hours of Kashan intensity

That's good to know. We can plan to have a scrim shortly after that.

I'm not sure we can handle nine straight hours... I need my beauty sleep. But maybe we put together a best of three series. Three scrims, one map each, both teams playing each side.

This is what I had hoped for from TG when .5 came out.

I understood the need to wait a while because of the lag and bugs.

Then .50X came out and weeks and weeks went by and no scrim.

What I would like to see with .6 from the PR community would be the following 32 vs 32 scrims:

TG host a scrim once a month. First week of the month (two matches tops Insurgent game mode)

IGI host a scrim once a month. Second week of the month. (two matches tops. Extract game mod)

X clan host a scrim once a month. Thrid week of the month (two mathces a month. Conquest game mod).

Week off from scrims.

This system allows even the busiest person to at least make one scrim a month or every couple of months.

Ideally, the Clan/Community hosting the scrim will bring a FULL team, and another clan/community will be on first come first server bases. Unless a challenge has been laid down to a Clan or a group of clans (some clans are too small to put on a full 32 player roster.

Keep in mind, just because a scrim only has 20 vs 20, that is cool. With weekly scrims, people will get the picture.

Each team can make the preperation as complicated as they want. It is their call or their CO's call (once selected).

IMO, the tactical and realistic gameplay of PR.6 demands such scrims.
I have not played .5 in 8 weeks because of immature players and the same ol stuff.

The following can happen during these scrims:

1. Setting up and experimenting with teamspeak to further improve comms in-game. Top Cat knows what I am talking about.
Objective: To further enhance the gameplay on games. To allow teamspeak during casual play( Granted, I do not think the casual gamer is mature enough to handle this.)

2. Better expose proplems with the maps and team balance.
Objective: With AAR, give the devs a quick assessment of their .6 maps.

3. Have the BF2v player base acclumate to the PR gameplay by squading up with PR vets and good leaders during scrims. Also realize the advantages to planning and preperation instead of running and gunning.
Objective: Create a CO and SL regulars that focus on these roles when they play. Players who read scrim AAR will understand what they need to do to be a good leader and get results in .6.
This needs to be done early to ensure the .6 mod does well with the new CO set-up. This set-up really rewards teamplay.

4. Create a better player base that allows players to get to know each other when they travel to differnt servers.
Objective: Good clean fun.
