1 - 1 on the night a fair result for both teams, even if the map favoured the brit on mestia, Qwai CnC needs a bit more love and work on it , but as a first release, it played out pretty well. Hunting for FB's which could have been anywhere is more fun than going for flags. Some notice of when the enemy had 4 FB's up would have been nice though. Randomly getting legit baseraped took me by surprise the first time. Kinda disappointed that people left for Kashan, would be good to have a "proper" blast on it sometime. For the future maybe?

Got prob ith ISP at the end of Qwai (ping up to 700 )
all other was fine

CnC: need more teamwork & see when your flag capable (may be)

defiantly will play kashan at some point.


very true about CnC , i was thinking it would be good to know when your main base is in play to the enemy so you can defend it ? also i found that we could of took your main very quickly at start of game cause of quick FB set up and was thinking. maybe once you have 4 firebases up you need a 2 firebase lead on the enemy ? so for e.g

you have 4 firebases, the enermy have 4 firebases game is 10 mins in. you have to destroy two enemy firebases to get a 2 firebase lead to allow main base to come into play. something like that? we had two squads and a APC on main road outside your main 5 mins in but i sent them search because didn't want to end it to quick

Server settings
As far as I know everything was good. Apart from one guy losing connection for a few seconds we didn't encounter any problems with the server or the settings.

Hmph... alright now it's time for a little rant.
How can it be so f*cking hard to be there on time?! If the game is set to begin at a certain time then be there at that time, ready to play. Today at 17:30 GMT there were something like 10-20 guys on the server. And we finally managed to start the game over 40 minutes after it was supposed to start. This is just completely ridiculous and unacceptable.

Also.. once again.. commander problem. In mestia we (militia) had no commander. This is something we need to think about since in a match like this we really do need to have commanders.

CnC game mode
I personally think this was a huge success. The game mode is extremely hard but I really loved playing it since we had the required amount of teamwork. The whole game seemed very well coordinated and it was just awesome to see CnC mode being played the way it is ment to be played. I definitely think we should play another round of CnC next week.
But like I said earlier, we need commanders. No point in even trying to play a CnC map unless both sides have a commander.

its awesome the whole atmosphere of the game is much different

though the bit i liked the most was the lack of PB, on a normal server i range between 20-50 fps

during all of tonights games my fps was 80-90 i could fly perfectly no killer lag spikes. i just wish there was a way around having punkbuster ruining it for me normally, but i cant find the cure

CnC seems like an interesting mode though i really dont understand how it work,s just spent the game ferrying people around on a LB. which for me was great fun, especially my emergency landing and CSAR from sgt.dann

should definatly have more games like this, say like every night

would have been nice for people to have stayed for kashan as with the clans involved it would have been a very intense and entertaining fight, another night i suppose most probably when i aint about too

the point made about CnC are good, it'd be nice to have intel like in insurgency so you know how many FB are up and what the situation is with the mains, but maybe without giving away the positions of the firebases (was fun to use the LB as a recce heli when transport wasn't needed)

overall i loved it, especially seeing as i didn't lag all night.

just downloading the demo of qwai, should be an interesting watch

think if we had another clan in we could fill early , i don't want to force people to turn up when they don't want to but want the server ready for play near on time ya know? we just need lke 50 people on time to get it started then it can play on like pub server, people joining mid game ect

You need to publicise this a bit more, and hope people going to uni wont take a really significant number of players away.

This is my last one of these matches for a while too, going down to uni next weekend. Hope the rest of these go well & that I can join in again in december!

Everyone watch the PLA tanks in the BR file, for the first 1/2 hour they were done PERFECTLY. We had combat service support from within the squad too. Thats what happens when you put ex-tankers in command. Thats how all armoured units should work.

Sounds like you lot had a good time

Commander selection is a big problem it seems, a bunch of iGi have already done the position, including myself.

I know that its a daunting position, and can get boring. But in this setting you will have an entire team trying to use ur resources and talking to you. If you want, you can just be a coordinator rather than a commander, just pass along the intel you get, just say at the start that you don't fancy ordering people around, but will get the squads working together.

The only other way of doing it in my mind....is to offer the commander position to a friend not currently able to join the game i.e. not one of the clans in the list/an american *shudders* /joke
