Looking for a Clan

Hello folks.

I'm looking for a teamwork-oriented, over-18 clan. Specifically, I'm looking to add some consistency to my game-play by playing with folks that work well together.

I'm not a regular in the forms, but I've been playing PR for at least two releases now. I'm based in the US (GMT-6) and play most nights.

Catch me here or in game.

Thanks folks.

If you actually played PR for two releases, you would know that clans are really not a big fab. The entire game of PR is already teamwork oriented but I understand your basic frustration. You WILL play with pretty dull members and you will play with good members now and then. Your best bet is to actually make friends as you play. Get one or two friends that know you and that understand your play style. What you'll really find interesting is that the smaller the smaller the squad, the intimate the game play is with you squad members. So just be more commutative and make some friends.

Check out 2/7, we are not an 18+ only clan but only recruit mature players. We are small but still growing, if you are interested please drop an application at 7thmarines.net/forums.

I'm certain somewhere in between questioning my honesty about exactly how long I've been playing, your assertion that I just don't "get" PR, and politely calling me a friendless wall-flower, there is some good really advice, and I thank you for that.

what are you on about?

dont listen to this guy he has no idea.

Some guy on another forum- "I'm an athiest so i don't believe in the apocalypse. The rest of you are ****ed."

To deny all the qualities of a being is equivalent to denying the being itself. A being without qualities is one which cannot become an object of the mind, and such a being is virtually non-existent.

The clan system is under developed, with not THAT much going on in terms of scrims at times. But, there is a kick out of playing with people you know reguarly, in absence of going around advertising on PR servers for friends to play with, a clan offers a setup that allows you to get familiar with its members. If you're in the US, Tactical Gamer has a sort of squad/unit system which may appeal to you if you're inbetween. Check their forums for more info. Plus, new playstyles can only help to make you better, you think about things differently.

I personally recommend either 2-7-http://7thmarines.net/forums/

Or a new unit on the block, whcih is a bit larger than 2-7, which is 2AD-http://2ndarmoredgaming.us

Yes that is correct, We are in the ArmA/PR combat theater!!! In keeping with the honor and traditions of the Armored Divisions, comes the 2nd Armored Division "Hell On Wheels" is here.

The 2nd Armored Division was activated 15 July, 1940. Since then it had a glorious and distinguished history. Commanded by notable leaders such as Maj. Gen. Charles L. Scott, Maj. Gen. Isaac D. White, and of course, the most well known, Maj. Gen. George S. Patton, Jr.

2nd Armored was one of General Patton's "pet" units. And under his command, 2nd Armored faced unspeakable odds to defeat countless enemies in the field of battle.

The creation of 2nd Armored was not only to give ArmA/Project Reality gamers a realism unit to call home, but is also a means of showing tribute and honor to those tankers and soldiers of the actual 2nd Armored. We will keep their memories alive in our games, tactics, meetings, and friendship.

__________________________________________________ __________

2nd Armored Gaming is sponsored by Spin LLC and funded as a volunteer vetrans memorial. 2nd Armored is a non profit gaming unit.

Now what can 2nd bring for you?

If you are into military tactics, realism, and fun, then keep posted here. We are run by actual military combat veterans who know how to bring the battle to your computer. If you wish to be considered for 2nd Armored, post your enlistment papers on our site: http://2ndarmoredgaming.us/modules.p...=viewforum&f=1

SEE YOU ON THE FIELD OF BATTLE!!!!!!!!!
