Hey Guys,

This is just a quick update, we aredefinately still go for this on Sunday 20th January.

So far the clans taking part are SRR, SOE, iGi, ABA and MEU.

LT Soucy if you want ORC tot ake part too that will be cool, if ya could just send me a pm tonight sometime (Friday) or tomorrow morn. I just need this to clarify that you are taking part and can get 6 players together?

I am just home from work and need to sort out the final details. I will post back here in a couple of hours and if I can I will also post duplicate details in each clans forums.

Any problems or queries please contact me as General Slippyfist will be working up until Sunday afternoon.

OK all here are the details for Sunday nights scrimm.

As it stands we have 6 clans taking part, as such we will have 3 clans on each team.

Each clan will hopefully be able to field one squad of six. Each team should then have at least 3 squads, with any extra clan members forming a mixed clan 4th squad (though we would have to ensure that each team had the same number of players).

Team 1

Alpha Squad: SRR
Bravo Squad: 13th MEU
Charlie Squad: SOE
Delta Squad: Mixed Clan

Team 2

Alpha Squad: ABA
Bravo Squad: iGi
Charlie Squad: ORC
Delta Squad: Mixed Clan

We will be playing 2 maps with 1 round per map. We will then need to have 2 commanders for each team, with commanders swapping at map change. If each clan that would like to command posts up their chosen commander. Then in this thread we can pick 2 (or just the 1 if decided)for each team.

The 2 maps we are going to play are:

Jabal al Burj
Fools Road

Team 1

Jabal al Burj - MEC
Fools Road - British

Team 2

Jabal al Burj - American
Fools Road - Militia

We will set the round time limit to 90 minutes.

We should all meet up on xfire and or Teamspeak for around 1930. The commanders and squad leaders can jump on a TS channel and have a quick brief befor the battle.

Once we are all online we can log into 13th MEU's server (Server IP details and password to follow in a post by Sgt.Boatwright[13thMEU]) and 5 minutes before kick off the Squad leaders can then brief their squads.

Team 1 can use SRR's TS channel for their pre battle commander brief.

Password: blunt

If a clan from team 2 wants to offer their TS channel for the commander brief that would be great

Schedule

1900 - Log into teamspeak for commander brief

1930 - 5 minute squad brief

1935 - Jabal al Burj map start

2105 - 15 minute break between maps

2120 - 5 minute squad brief

2125 - Fool's Road map start

2255 - End

Finally a big thanks to [13thMEU] for letting us use their server

UPDATE: We will now play one round on a European server (iGi) and one round on a US server (13th MEU). We will play Jabal al Burj first on iGi's server.

Ok no probs Gazz. If no one has any objections we will bring it forward half an hour? Is a start time of 1900 and finish time of 2300 ok for everyone?

All times are in GMT, most Europenas are one hour ahead of this. The times vary depending where ya are in the US.
