Well I cant see the differense in using US static carrier. if it suits you guys I can say that PLA has already landed O.o
its just more fancy with an amphibious assault. |

Reddish Red thanks that was actually one of the only good critiques in my map plan and will problibly use that as a main base for the PLA.
And dont get to this is muttrah rip off I am just playing around with the editor and this is a training map. A training map. As I will use to get under the skin to the editor to make better maps and learn this map has alot of the things needed to learn as crops, villages, making factories looking realstic, harbors, making bunkers built into the ground and so on. so everything I was asking for was tips on how to start making a small city in this case a village. Not how it look like Muttrah. so please stop this map plan=muttrah=fail. And I dont have any fancy r-con or r-dev or something that gives me 100+ in reputation so please either give a quality critique not like some of the muttrah copy posts, but maybe on how I should do and how I should not do it. |

ok... All I said is its concept is very close to muttrah, thou having different teams and different settings would give it a nice "twist", which I have also considered doing myself in the past. Some people may say muttrah is a rip off of a DC map (which ive never played, just seen shots of it after I had finished muttrah) as that is also a amphib air assault on a city, thou the city itself is very different A PLA carrier thou dose = fail thou unless you have a dedicated team of I would say a min of 3 guys who are going to make it, or one VERY talented guy with lots of times on his hands (thou theres not such a thing USMC vs PLA would be much better, you can do the "assault from the island" idea but its kinda gey IMO. also if your looking at making a map just to train up on, you should just have a big mess around with the editor placing statics in a creative manner and just seeing what it can do and how it can do it, aswell as running though tuts on it. doing a design concept etc with it is kinda pointless, if you do that much you might as well look into finishing it and getting it into a custom map or into the mod. so ye, chill dude. |

Thanks Rhino as you said I could just make a big sandbox map, but I did that and I felt it didnt give me anything, I didnt do things enough times to learn what to put where and so on I just thougt of making a more real map to just see if I could do it. I work better with a goal then just fuzzing around.
