It may well still be a missile site, but more of a dispersed underground bunker thing ( which you wouldnt be able to get into :P - kind of like this : ![]() ![]() laid out like this : ![]() The map is half moorland and half thick forest so i think it would fit quite well. | |

stick at it and search the forums - they have all the answers! Also to make my map Ive used very few of the "normal" methods that are in alot of the tutorials due to the size of it. Alot of it I worked out myself or adapted other methods ( Ive had to learn how to use photoshop which was an effort in its self! ) I think this map will actually take about 1000 hrs of my time :/ Also set up the debugger - it usually points out why your map wont work. |

I have just been looking through the PR statics in the editor and Ive come across some missile silos. What map are these from as I cant remember them, and I dont want to do something thats been done before.

Do you mean the great big one with the vehicle ramp and stairwell? And a lower central bit surrounded by a concrete walkway and a few (2?) rooms at the side? And 4 hanger door sized enterances around the sides, all numbered?
If you do its for a map that has not yet been released, barracuda I think. |

Hey, if you're sticking with the missile idea, see if you can use statics from a Special Forces map, Mass Destruction I think it was, not sure though. You might find something useful there.

Hey guys heres the link to download my map :
4shared.com - online file sharing and storage - download wuzhai.7z Just unzip it in your levels folder and then run it under local server. Please bear in mind that Ive not placed any statics - Ive just completed terrain, vegetation and sky. The map is misty so it can be hard to see in some helis, but thats how it will stay :P If you find any roads or statics they are just experiments and will not be in the final version. All the vehicles have been placed at the US flag. To get the pilots kit you need to get in and then out of a heli to request it. Any feedback on terrain, vegetation and sky will be gratefully received - Enjoy! |
