Cool [MAP] no name [wip]

After a friend handed the 13th meu training map to me so I can finish it, I decided to totally scrap the thing and use the terrain for something new. Here is a map that is basically a spaced, village to village fight, combined assests (tanks, apcs, and light transports/helis) I still have some to go when it comes to detail for the villages, and the village around the mousqe. This is pretty much up for grabs for any faction that needs maps.

??? MAIN

[not pictured, picture contains new statics for .8]

SITE FOXTORT

SITE DELTA

SITE BRAVO

Mousqe

minimap

1 ??? Main
2 Alpha
3 Bravo
4 Charlie
5 Delta
6 Echo
7 Foxtrot
8. Mousqe (mec main)

I have nothing planned for the map (faction wise) except that a force will be fighting MEC. Kinda want to make this able to have attack choppers too. Any suggestions?

Thanks

Looks like its gonna be niiiice!
(make it insurgency!!! -joke)
I'd say it needs to look more alive, these villages look a little odd in the desert by themselves, put in some fields like on archer and basrah?

Respect the R-Staff, they are pretty...pretty badass
so, if you don't like PR, get a refund

Actually.. this might not be such a bad place to implement PLA desert ops. You could say that the PLA decided to target a foreign testing ground for the aquisition of intelligence. In that vein, you would have to construct a base with facilities, get rid of the mosque, and set up forward positions for the PLA to start from.

How many networkable statics does it have? With those destructible, just make sure it doesnt go over, what was it, 1024?

Looking cool though, keep it up!

Bottom of the editor, theres a tab[near the fps display and such] called something like map info or something, click it and it will expand upwards, in there it shoudl list out like, how many objects, networkable objects, etc. I *think* they are labeled as "networkable objects" but Im not 100% positive.

This also includes rally points, destructible buildings, street signs that get knocked over, vehicles, etc.

Lol, yeah... I was at 600 or so and they told m to bring it down to 400. They think it might be whats causing maps to crash [Basrah]. Something to keep an eye on at least because you're awfully close :\

Not to claim you're stupid, but are you sure it was networkable objects that was 978? There are also other object amounts listed there... Im only saying this because it would be nice to have you check and come back saying "Ohhh no, my bad... I'm only at 500" or something :P

Keep it up, and maybe work at removing some walls and such. Sucks, I know, but yeah... don't wanna make a sweet map and have it constantly crash :P

Haha, use the tan walls, theyre tan with a block on top[pretty sure theyre from vBF2, but I could very well be wrong] or use the cement [gray] walls... although they might not mix too well with the destructible white buildings... play around with it, keep us posted... after all, thats what these threads are for. I dont even want to think about how many stupid things I did when I was starting my map... hell, I still do

Also just add mroe open space to the villages. Remove some buildings and create some nice little courtyards and add some trees/bushes or something
