Yes the LAV-III carries troops and also provides fire support. My plan is to make a somewhat detailed inside so troops can sit inside the vehicle. This is a must have since the LAV-III doesn't have gun ports and it would be incorrect to have it like the EA LAV-25 player view. I will also try to make the hatch for the MG on the turret open, so the possibility for a player position would be open.

Looks awesome. It would be great if you could actually create an interrior, since all the EA models took the shortcut of using a pitch black interrior.

I'm sure there's someone out there willing to skin it. Also, I like the open hatch idea ... be great to throw a MG up there.

Will I've 97% finished the actual model, all I need to do now is change a few details, reposition, add and connect some parts etc. I'll be moving on to making the inside model for the 1st person view of the passengers and then I'll be finished. I don't plan on skinning it myself, so I'll just leave it for DesertFox to decide on the model and its future.

Any spare polygons that could go towards some smoke grenade canisters on the front of the turret and some other details?
Edit - and maybe some details as far as the door on the very back go? |
