[Question] Tank Linkage

i am modeling at the moment on the Puma for the german forces mod and this is the first time i do a tank so is the linkage animated or is it a moveable texture?

The tank tracks needs to be "static", so what you need to model is just the tracks as a single object (with no linkages...)...

The tracks moves by rotating the textures around that object that you define as the track.

EDIT: realized my answer might not be all that clear so searched my photobucket to see what I had laying around to describe it better:

dont do the individual links as I did here:
