[Sounds] Hellfire?

Where are the hellfire sounds located? Ive looked in the objects_client, objects_server and common_client and also in common_server.

But there are no where to find?

Re: Hellfire Sound Location?

"objects/weapons/armament/missiles/sounds/mono/rocket_engine_start_idle.wav"

think that's the one your looking for?

EDIT: also you could give your titles and posts more description, but the title I though you mean the "x,y,z" of the sound location on the model only till I read most of your post I realized you mean where the file location was

Always look in the .con and .tweak files...

I tried putting a sound in and it didn't come out too bad.

Still, wasn't brilliant quality as in there as a bit too much background helicopter noise and I don't know how to sync it for firing rockets fast. I liked it though.

Re: [Question] Hellfire Sound Location?

I think that you might have to add markers to the .wav file. This way the BF2 engine knows what to play when firing single or automatic.

Here's a post which explains about vehicle sounds but weapon sounds are the same:

I don't think you would need that for a single shot weapon.

And i also did some sound work not too much tho..
