Question [Help!] apache sound help

hey guys, im trying to make my own apache gun sound and i got it in game, but for some reason, when i let go of the mouse, the sound keeps playing! I dont want it to play when i let go. Can any of you guys help me?

I'm no expert but it seems you've messed up the looping points on your sound. Try opening the original apache gun sound with "sound forge" (program by sony, you can download trial) delete the audio part but don't mess with any markers and paste your desired sound. This might work... But then again, I'm no expert.

okay, so i got it so theres no gap, but when im in game i click and the sounds goes off but if i unclick then it still plays due to its lenght, i want to know how to make it so the sound stops when i release the button...

Have you made sure of making the 1 p at 44 khz and 3p at 22 khz? and also converted it into a PCM format? If so have you remembered its no need to make it loop beacause it only has one rate of fire? So no need to loop it!

That might solve the problem if not post some more information about what you have been doing with the sound...

lol audio from real chopper videos, the audio quality isn't really good though..

I though about making this kind of sound my self, not just steal it from youtube videos or liveleak or wherever you got this from. But i don't know the programs to do so and if i can do it *not sound artist*.
