[Map] Dragons Mouth [WIP]
Evening, here is the map I have been working on for sometime now. The original starter of the map is =Romagnolo=, but ever since he quit mapping he gave the map to who ever wanted it and well I took it. We have been ever since closley working together on the map.

There will be 2 or 1 huey just incase of a stalemate, etc. Romas thread: http://www.realitymod.com/forum/f66-...ea-w-pics.html Settings: USMC vs PLA Counter-Attack Description: As the push in to now-chinese-occupied-russia, not too far off is an opening in the mountain terrain of (code name) dragons mouth. The chinese have just taken and evacuated the city and are now fortifying the beach. The usmc now sees and oppertunity to strike the chinese forces. http://i27.tinypic.com/2rqcdj6.jpg 1. Carrier (Cap 2,3,4) 2. West Beach 3. Central Beach 4. East Beach (Cap 5) 5. Farm (Cap 6,7) 6. West City 7. East City (Cap 8 ) 8. thanks! Known issues: some terrain on the mountains is stretched out and wierd, working on it. paddies dont show up, no idea why. the beach needs some work, as you can see that is the part i touched up least. the minimap is crap, i gotta do rhinos tut on it. Nice looking map. The map description is..."special", especially considering the statics don't exactly look very Russian
but good map nonetheless. Keep it up comrade |

Looks like the chinese are getting significant numbers of APCs, could be hard for the hueys to get drops in, remember that jabal only has a couple of APCS..
Or is it too early to say what kind of vehicle assets will be assigned? |

May I suggest adding some soviet style apartments or cement block houses to give the map a more Russian feeling... Also, the Buddha seem slightly out of place if this is in Russia.

The rice paddies seem a bit out of place in south east Russia. The beach is way to boxy, it looks very unnatural. The woodland seems too thin, it should be denser I think, unless this area is a steppe environment, if it is then put a lot of work in to the grass and shrubbery. Make the city look less standard Chinese. If this is near the border of China, in Russia, I expect architecture to be similar to Chinese, but not Chinese. The idea of a Buddha statue is plausible, but the city defiantly needs different statics. Some Russian writing on buildings and billboards might be cool.
