Default Connecting to server and CTD problems

I had PR running flawlessly on my system for the past year but I had to re-install windows a few weeks ago and have been having some new problems with PR.

First problem - the first time I try to connect to a server the map wont load and I'll get a "Your connection to the server has been lost" message. The next time it will load without problems. It's a minor annoyance

Second problem - after finishing a map it will usually crash to desktop. Maybe 8/10 times.

I'm running a:
Windows 7 32bit
EVGA nForce 790i Ultra SLI System Board
Intel York QX9770 3.2 GHz Quad Core Xtreme CPU
GeForce GTX 280 1GB Video
4GB Corsair Dominator 1600 Memory (9-9-9-24) CMX4GX3M2A1600C9
RAID 5 array consisting of two Western Digital VelociRaptor 300GB and a single Seagate Barracuda 250GB

Any ideas?

Firstly, is there any reason you are using a 32bit O/S? Your system is configured for 64bit and thus you are not using it to the full potential (e.g. you are only using 3Gb of your RAM). This might not be anything to do with your issues but as I said, your O/S is not using the potential of your system to its max. The crashing to desktop after each round might be due to your memory not clearing correctly which would be related to using a 32bit O/S. Also, are you over-clocking any hardware as this can causing issues too?

Because I cant afford to upgrade right now. I really don't think it's the OS that is causing the problems considering that I had PR running flawlessly for the past year using the same OS and hardware

Have you set Arma2.exe and Arma2OA.exe to run as admin since your reinstall?

Yikes, I just realized that I've posted in the wrong forum!
