Great idea, I love the canadians! But I think you have to bring something to the table for such a suggestion to go through. Kit plan, potential devs, ideas for maps, something. Similar threads have been closed because OP merely suggested the addition of a faction. Also iirc you have to post a certain amount of times before you're allowed to post a suggestion.

FDF Faction Lead

Doesn't have to be in the 'Suggestions' area. 'Community factions / Community modding' will do just fine.
I suggest you start by making a detailed and well organized design plan for the faction, what kind of assets need to be made etc. Then you should either start working on some 3D Modeling / 2D Texturing tutorials and read up on ArmA II modding. After you have a basic idea of how to do all this, you should start gathering up a capable team to develop the faction. It's not done overnight, it could take months or even years of semi-active work with an 'indie' team, so if you really want this, you have to be dedicated for it. |

I think its doable, the devs need only bring in the "operation north star" addon from the arma community, its on the BIS forums.

Yes, well, if memory serves the devs once stated that they will never use addons or factions made by others than the pr community.
