I ran into this problem repeatedly, where when I was on the side-gunner in the Chinook and when in the non-optic view, where I could see my GPS, the graphics were messed up so that most of my view was filled with the back and side of the gun. I only recall seeing it on the right-hand gun but I didn't spend much time on the left-hand one so it might affect that as well.
This happened the first time I got on the gun, the next time (after exiting the chopper and getting back in later) it was OK and then the third time it was messed up again. Although it was fine in Optics mode, then it's not possible to see the GPS which is a major disadvantage. Of course this might be an Arma2 bug rather than a PR one so just let me know if that's the case and I'll report it on the BIS forums and CIT. If anyone's already raised a ticket about it, give me a link and I'll just vote for that |

I'll see if I can get one in single-player. Would be a bit rude to leave the game to be messing around with screenshots in MP.
Unless ArmaII has a screenshot button I'm not aware of that will dump a file to somewhere, as using the PrtScrn button just makes it in the clipboard and requires me to paste it into Paint and if I don't do that immediately and leave it till the game's ended I'm liable to forget about it. |

Use this http://www.fraps.com/setup.exe, this will allow you to take screenshots in game. | |

OK, I've uploaded some shots here:

Numpad 0 usually changes view by default. If its not working try pressing Numlock first.
Anyway, your view seems oddly zoomed in. It's like you're ducking behind the weapon. This has never happened to me. |

Yeah, Numpad 0 works to switch to Optics mode. This problem is when I'm not in that mode.
