Ia Drang crash on load since beta2

Is anyone else suffering a C2D the instant Ia Drang loads? Tis my fav. PRV map

I had no problems till I updated to beta2. Other maps seem to load ok.

I have an Radeon 6950 (1024Mb version) and runnig Catalyst 12.4 drivers.

A bit annoyed as a C2D for Ia Drang is cited as being fixed in the beta 2, but its having the opposite effect for me.

I did a manual update (autoupdater errored). Any ideas chaps?

Perhaps the server you joined hasnt been updated. Only join servers with something like 'beta 2' in the servername.

k, pretty sure I have, but will double check...

Happily spent 2 hrs on a 128 Murttah, no issue, so not all bad

ok, my bad, been playing successfully on Ia Drang on a few servers now....

I'll be more patient next time and wait for server updates

On a related note is there an easy way to see the server version prior to loading?

A server should put something like "Beta 2" in its name. At least that what we strongly advised
