Need help installing

First of all you have been sure where problem is at all. From your story I can’t be sure where the problem is.

Try to make iso image of your ArmA2 DVD with some burn software Alcohol 120% will be good.

If you manage to create iso image without problems than your ArmA2 DVD and your player is OK.

If not your ArmA2 DVD or DVD players is problem.

If you create iso try to mount it with Deamon tool and install. Don’t worry about protection you have original DVD and you will use it for it you just need iso for installation.

If you fail then the problem is not in DVD or player.

Yes. I exceed the recommended req.s for running the game. So I should be in fantastic shape.

People are asking about hardware too. I really don't think it's a hardware issue, it seems more to do with the disk... Either way, I would love to play this game(yes it is a legit copy) but I don't think Best Buy would allow me to exchange it, considering they have a sucky posicy on computer games.

I'll look into that torrent thing too- I did post on the ArmA2 support and no response...

I'm not a computer guy, how would I carry about doing this?

visit The Official ImgBurn Website download the absolutely free and legal software , install it put your dvd in the drive open imgburn and press the button that says create image file from disc.

I jsut tried burning the ISO image...but it stalls out, same as the disc! I'm retrying it now... if this doesn't work then i'm going back to BestBuy as soon as it's done

I just exchanged the disk for a new one at Best Buy and tried to activate it by Steam- not working. And on the Steam site it says it does not support ArmA2. I'mm post later if the disk installation works

Well even better- The Manual CD works- but the installation CD doesnt.

I JUST exchanged the CD at BestBuy for a new one my computer won't even read.

Bohemian Int. support site won't answer me back.

And now my internet is slow and I cannot find the CD for my router downstaris after I reformatted my computer....

I am surprised they gave you 2 CDs,it should be a single DVD regardless of the publisher.
So this is the 2nd or 3rd time the disk won*t read

For some reason, the Manual is in a CD(apparently the first X amount were in paper manuals like normal, then they started using disks). Either way- Ya, I have 2 disks in this 1 box.

And yes, this is the 2nd one they've given me
