Default [MISSION] Operation Stingray

Operation Stingray is my first attempt at Project Reality mapping. Currently it is a work in progress but it is in a playable state as of this moment.

Operation Stingray takes place on Cheranus. It is an Attack and Secure gamemode and takes place between the United States Marine Corps and the Russians.

The United States main base is the LHD while the Russians control a small airstrip that was hastily set up after learning of the American advance. Russia controls 6 of the 8 points on the map, while the port remains neutral territory that is contested by both the US and Russia.

USMC Vehicles:
F-35B x1
Chinook x1
UH-60 x1
Huey x 2
Apache x1
Little Bird x2(1 Attack 1 Medic)
LAV x3

Russia Vehicles:
Su-34 x1
9K22 Tunguska x2
BMP-3 x1
BTR-90 x1
Vodnik x 4
Boats x2
D-30 x3
ZU-23 x3
Repair, Ammunition, and Fuel trucks + 6 empty trucks
Mi-8MTV3 x1

Control points:
Port
Church
Hotel
Outskirts
Factory
Hillside

This map still needs to be tested and I haven't been able to do that efficiently due to PR automatically kicking me off Preview mode due to server settings not being correct in editor mode.

At the moment it is playable though.

If anybody could help me though I'd like to be able to control what weapons players start out with, as USMC are starting out with British weapons. However if you go to armaments and check, it is all USMC weapons.

Quick question...

Wouldn't this have the [Mission] tag then rather than [Map] tag, since you're just creating assets/objectives on an existing map?

To be fair to the OP, he was actually correct in posting [MAP] as there is no designation in the guidelines thread about [Mission], although given there will be more missions than maps made for PR:ARMA (I assume), I would petition for that designation to be added. I have a feeling it was copy-pasted from the BF2 suggestions section... which obviously wouldn't have [Mission] in it.

Start by setting your difficulty to expert, that should help I think

You don't mess with the Zohar!

Thanks for the title change, you guys are correct that this would be a mission and not a map.
What do you mean by setting the difficulty to expert?

Comparing the layout it looks like Russians will steamroll over the Usmc. Will all of this work though? We only have 2 factions setup.

Well if you go through some of the base missions in PR they do have set up for US as a faction, and when you check armaments, it displays the proper USMC weapons and gives you the proper loadout requested.
As for the Russians steam rolling USMC that is why I need to test it so that I can get the proper balancing. I may remove some of the Helicopters that Russia has to even it out but the reason that Russia has so much armor was because they have the advantage of being on home territory and USMC has air superiority.

I've managed to get static artillery working for the USMC side.
I am trying to find a way to do it for the Russians as well.

Update:
Russia now has static artillery pieces that work along with forward arming points that you can transport using the accompanying Supply trucks

I've added some destroyers next to destroyed fregatas that are burning.

Okay so I've run into a bit of a snag.
The mission will not work if i create a new PBO with it as going to the LAN screen gives me this: "praa/praa_aas/description_mission.ext not found"
Any solutions to this? I do not get this error if I directly import the mission into praa_missions.pbo but it doesnt show up in the LAN screen as well.

Edit:
It might be because im missing Boot_Hill
gonna test it in a few minutes
Got it working, everything seems to be in order except two console errors, will try and fix tomorrow
