ArmA2 doesn't have the best flight model but it is still waaay better than BF2s & most other games that are not primarily focused on flight. I like ACE2's new flight model, it brings ArmA one step closer to becoming a flight sim.

I don't mind running a logistics squad or a FOB squad. It only requires 2 or 3 members (including myself) to drive around in a couple of logi trucks and set up the FOBs, so that the INF squads can focus on fighting.

Re: the AI driving and convoys.
In "stock" A2, it can suck. It can be done (combination of grouping and setting formation), but they really need a "Follow" waypoint, which I think they do have in VBS2. But, there is at least one script mod out there that can help create a convoy. Of course, as you guys note, far better it is to have human players doing it! |

Lots of IED weapons...
I love insurgents Rocket attack / player controlled mortars for insurgents. I need to attack US bases with rockets :P Better vehicle wrecks. Ability to plant bombs inside of a vehicle, like a trunk full of arty shells. If you add those, I will buy the game just to play |

IEDs are probably as easy as just using the satchel charges already in the game and adapting them to new models (cell phone and pipe bombs etc).
Mortars could actually be manned by insurgents or AI just like the blufor artillery and I would assume making a bombcar wouldn't be that hard either. |

stuff like bomb cars can be done quite easily. Just a simple script and you got yourself a bomb car. Almost everything you could wish for CAN be done in arma2
People said it would be impossible to have AC130's But it was done!! |
