I think fastropes could be problematic. it sounds like a great feature but not many will use it so for the developers the question comes up if it is not a waste of time to implement/develop it.
I believe it actually takes too much time to deploy the troops like that and this will result in a shot down chopper. In my opinion it is nothing more than a fancy toy which would be nice to have but absolutely not high priority. especially considering workload <-> effect. A quick touch landing or a prachute drop would make more sense and wouldn´t expose the chopper and the man that long. Though maybe a steerable parachute would be nice. |

ACE2 - Type inserts, like real medical additions (epipens, bandages, morphene)
Some sort of "loadout" that you can limit, IN Arma2 IIRC all you do is request weapons for a set dollar amount, getting money for kills. Similar to CounterStrike. A "respawn" system for vehicles, so when your vehicles die they respawn instead of just being gone forever or having to buy them. Huge scale maps, large-player servers for massive battles. New factions, weapons, better animations, Taking out the robotic voices, etc Also, fastropes for select choppers. Rooftop infiltrations ftw |

I love how open ARMA2 is. You can basically do anything since the engine is so customizable.

Realistic capacities for all vehicles. A Chinook with 40+ people, 3 gunners and 2 pilots = yummy
And to further this, platoon sized airborne assaults (obviously mission dependant). |

OT: Versatility of ArmA 2 shown in its greatest form (P.M me if you want the mission PBO for this)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ks7OA2WNaPY back on topic: I want Maps the size of small countrys, with 500 players fighting with everything from 1911s' to AC130's but we all know thats never gonna happen. Realisticly, i would like the ability to have large scale combined arms Battles without the risk of the jets runing out of space and the tanks being confined to two routes that everyone knows. Also i would like the ability to move the front line of fighting, so for instance you can make a town your main hq by moveing a mobile HQ into place then building hescos and stuff like that, and once this HQ is over run thats game over for you, i think it would make it more teritory based. |
