Default 3d sights?

PR: Bf2 just got 3d iron sights. Will Arma 2 version have it too?

3D iron sights? They've been in since ArmA 1.

It won't work in the same way as it does in BF2, or Insurgency (HL2 mod) if it is put in. The Arma 2 Engine isn't capable of rendering the scene twice to produce the same effect as a scope IRL. It can't work like COD4 or the New PR scopes because the ability to look around (free look) would interfere with zooming the entire screen in. So, I'm not quite sure how it could work. Anyone else have any ideas?

Every single game you named but Insurgency zooms in the whole screen, that includes the new PR sights. It has nothing to do with free look either, the engine has to support render to texture.

Ok, so if it has nothing to do with freelook, then could we not just do the sights in a similar way to the way that PRBF2 v0.95 does them? Because if the whole screen zooms in and you try to use the free-look then would everything not be zoomed in? I'm confused...

Hi all, first post here.
You cant use freelook when you are looking down the iron sight or through the scope.

I thought you could... at least with Aimpoints and Irons? Can anyone clarify?
