No this isnt about afgani herbal.

In my experice with ARMA2/OA myself and others only porformance issues have been linked to grass, so will "PRARMA" be using stock grass on its maps or "home made" ?

lol, PR: ArmA2 and making "home grown grass" may result in a call from the DEA !!

We are looking at performance issues at the moment, its something that will be discussed.

ps. We have the UV Lamps on stand by in the editor !!!

But seriously any gain in FPS is more than welcome , im hoping the removal of CPU dependant AI will also help with the frames overall.

Because you wont have AI and all the scripts going with them like you do in coop, it actually lets the PR team have more detail with out taxing your computer.

This raises another question: Will ArmAPR servers be checking for players trying to load with extra addons? Like grass cutters?

Yes.. there will of course be signature checks on loaded files to stop other addons being used. This is absolutely essential in PvP environment.

Player controlled AI wouldn't be AI.

AI stands for Artificial Intelligence, and is just a fancy term for a bot

Unless of course you mean squadmembers, and that would be a no. PR will be a PVP mod, player versus player.

Well, I guess everyone understands what I mean in this case, even though I didn't use correct term. Besides, you can issue commands to bots and this way, you can indirectly control them.

Well, IMHO that sucks. I was waiting for PR:ARMAII but suddenly I don't feel so excited about it.
