Are you guys going to build your own buildings that don't all have detailed interiors in them so that urban maps won't turn our gaming sessions into slide shows?

The only buildings that are done by the PR team are the ones on the PR built maps, even those might be the BIS standard with a few tweaks.
About 90% of the buildings in OA are enterable by default, and there isnt a hit in performance. The inside wont load unless you actually go in. |

Yeah and enterable/destrutible building really bring something to the gameplay, I hope it will be 100% on PR.
Only thing that could turn the game into a slide show is the vegetation, I joined a pvp AAS server today which was forcing the vegetation above normal my framerate could easily drop to 10fps while looking at the most dense areas... While on Domination with no vegetion my framerate is above 50 in cities which is fairly playable for such game. |

I don't know what it is about buildings, but even with my new quad core, I can't play a city mission without choppiness. I don't know if it's the textures or what, but boy does it damage FPS.

Even though it won't effect gameplay, I'm really sick of suggestions to make the game worse, just so a few other people that are too poor to afford a $100 part will be able to play. Move with the times, or get held back. Don't hold everyone else back just for yourself. | |

What I do wish is that PR also makes some buildings that feature things you don't have in the OA buidlings, such as bigger buildings, buildings with bigger entrances, more multiple-floor buildings etc. The OA buildings get a bit repetitive after you play it a lot (though definitely a huge improvement over original Arma 2 which had less variety on top of having most buildings non-enterable).

Can we get a full size stadium building, or a large multilevel/multiroom warehouse or something sweet like that with large enough stuff for doing stuff in.

For some reason, I get better performance in urban areas when playing online on a dedicated server than if I were to play SP.

^^ That's odd, but enjoy it. Yeah some large buildings to break up the repetitiveness would be very nice, like Tom said, a stadium or warehouse, or multi-level car park.
And as .. direct as he said it, I agree with what Dev said. I think it's unfair to us that paid to upgrade our machines, to hold back content. |
