[Official] Did you buy ArmA2 for Project Reality and feedback ?

I suppose this is really aimed at our own PR Community.

An interest question I am trying to find out though is how many people within our community bought ArmA2 soley for the future PR: ArmA2 Mod ?

The second question, and more important (to post) is:

What are you realistically excpecting from PR: ArmA2 on its first release ?

This information is good feedback for the Dev team, so now is your chance to say to them what you excpect to see !!

I think one option is missing in the poll- "Do not own ARMA2 atm but going to buy it for PR".

I bought ArmA2 and quickly realize my old single-core PC choked on it so I put it on the shelf.

With ArmA2 I see huge potential. I'm new to ArmA2 and have only played a few missions. No multiplayer yet.

I'm pretty much expecting multiplayer realism like in PR. Nilla hand holding, "enemy to your left" garbolage all stripped away. Push players into teamplaying. Thinking through situations.

The controls have thrown me off as I play right-handed and right side of the keyboard. Having to learn WASD keys will be a complete nightmare... like learning to write my name left-handed with a pencil that is the size of a donkey's leg...

I did buy arma2 for arma2, however I got coffee all over my old disk. I would not have rebought arma and also got OA if PR was not on the horizon.

The thing i want most form PR and what i expect is a high player count on servers.

Have OA but not ArmA2 yet. Will probably get it if OA is not enough for PR.

What am I looking for... hmmm... More or less what the current BF2:PR offers. Flexible SQ system, no ready missions (just maps as in BF2:PR), Maybe a bit larger player count than BF2 (about 40-50 guys side).

I manged to map all the important keys to my Numpad and mouse on Operation Arrowhead. No need for WASD.

Bought ARMA2 & OA purely for PR.

And what I want from it is enjoyable, large scale PVP warfare with combined arms and a team based portrayal of the battlefield, rather than the un-fun missions like domination, warfare & coop currently.

coop is fun with the right people if you want a fun game hop on TG and you'll be hooked i promise.

Had Arma, got Arma 2 cos I thought Arma had loads of potential - Arma 2 rocked - got Operation Arrowhead - Arrowhead ROCKS!!! - I find it better in every way.

I expect a reload animation on the LEE ENFIELD in the first release of PR. Nothing more. (why BI cant have been arsed to do one is beyond me).

Truth is that PR:Arma2 release will shadow anything that BI puts out for Arrowhead. Just give it time. The dedication and attention to detail is what makes the difference.

Apparently, lead is not good for you if ingested, at any velocity. And whilst I'm here, you're not a PC and Windows 7 wasn't your idea, live with it!!!
