Just ordered both ArmA 2 and ArmA 2: OA. I had an eye on the games before, but when I heard that a PR mod was beeing developed for them I had to get the games so when they shouldn't turn out to be a lot of fun "at least" I can play some PR :P

I guess I'm expecting High qualty weapons and units. I wouldn't expect a lot of vehicles for the first release, and perhaps the Taliban to be added as well. I don't think Afghanistan would be completed, as I would think a map would take quite a while to do.

Does UK_Force have anything to do with the UKF weapons/units already available for Arma 2?

Also, I hope that if we do have SUSATS that the sight doesn't look like UKF's version.

Already had it, didn't really like it that much but I'll keep it installed for PRA.

Chernarus LIFE etc are all pretty fun too, so I keep it installed for them.

I expect the same thing I expected from PR the first time I played it. BLOOD. At the time PR was the only mod for BF:2 that had Blood in it and that is all I expect from ARMA II. People need to realize the PR has been around for years and is radically different than it's first release. Lets all think realistically.

Seriously, when I heard of PR:ArmA 2 I thought... YES, now theres a good reason to buy ArmA2 (I only heard of the bugs ingame) so I bought it for 20 € (other version which included patch 1.05 had cost 30 € btw >> ridiculous as the patch only weights 180 mb)

Yes got it dirt cheap, guess sales was not as good as they hoped.



Basically I want PR but with a cover system,









What i expect, Fix this game up so it more PVP, accessible. meaning fiddling with the animation, and game play ,


Fiddle with the accuracy of the weapons as well has the zoom so to encourage fire fights, as well as add deviation penalties from being suppressed or fired apron,


A health system simular to BF2 so people can get patched up and put back in action with minimal fuss.


I think what makes this game bad for PVP, it fighting is not kept localised enough, Plus there's the fact the guns are as accurate as laser guns, that with the zoom, it makes it just too easy to snipe people,

which ruins the experience, i can under stand why people hate this game, because it often comes down to who see's who first wins, with the loser having to spawn at base and then make a 20km trek the get back into the fight only to have it happen again.

I've been playing the series since OFP so I buy every game in the series, love ArmA2 and OA have been playing them constantly.


What I expect is quality TvT that is well laid out and stable. I don't expect uber realism because ArmA already is more than realistic enough I do not expect total balance but I do hope for some slight balance to ensure that people would actually want to play as insurgents. More than anything, I want to see an auto balance script because I could see potential issues with team stacking.

What I dont want is for PR to change deviation values because 5.56 deviation vaules are good in default ArmA. What I do want to see is realistic recoil for the L85.

decent PvP(no lag or dsync issues) and not so large scale(80players max server limit) and maps dont have to be so big...and maybe more user friendly.
it is a game...and i dont want to lay in an ambush for 4 hrs like i have done IRL...that would suck...can u imagine falling asleep at ur computer desk and waking up to gun fire.....thinking...well at least someone was awake to set off the ambush when the enemy came....
