I am not overly impressed. I mean, I love the FLIR system. But other than that, pointless. The map could be good, but the units are all already available using mods, and the German, thats just BIS being lazy as they already have their weapons. Where are the Brits, the Danes, the French?

Pitty Trini scourge was busy making a real video
Look forward to using those buildings in my map at some stage though , looks more iraq than Afghanistan ? Nice to see the czechs and germans in there too. I believe BIS are placing a massive emphasis on factions in Ao and this can only be a massive boost to PR`s plan , i just hope to god there not gonna use Hidden selection method and have same models with different camo . One thing that did give me some concern if we had to say something in critique, around 1.14- 1.18 , when the tanks fire the energy seems to propel them foreward pretty sharply , yet the cannon is pointing to the left ? seems theay are still developing with arma 2 1.0 values in regards to recoil , remember the Nade launchers on UAZ and other vehicles ? Nuff speculation from me , looking forward to it immensely |

They don't have millions to spend like Codemasters/bungie and all the other big company's there. Look at OFP2.. a shitload of resources and still they fail to make a sandbox shooter as ARMA. You know why... because its extremely diffecult to make a game like that.. Thats why almost all game developer's don't want to touch a genre like this. The only game that came close is that fantasie game.. But that was only single player. And something extra.. they are supporting their community like no other. | |

Actually it's set in fictional "Takistan" and the enemy appear to have conventional arms including tanks in the trailer.

From what I have read Arrowhead will also be a stand alone game by itself but works with Arma2 so that you don't have to have one to play the other but they work together.
