I found this sentence quite funny and since this is a war game forum I will put it here. No offense to the french just a good laugh.
"Going to war without France is like going deer hunting without an accordion. All you do is leave behind a lot of noisy baggage."

I have to dwell in the forums to know that. Thanks for telling me though.

EDIT: Just something I found about it being moddable, dunno if its for BC2 or whatever later..

If you want a better engine to mod, huge maps, huge ammounts of players and fastropes. ArmA2's the way to go

I already upgrade the computer twice and still can not normally play in ArmA2. When does a lot of action, shots, explosions, vehicles and the various buildings on the map begin terrible lag. I am sure that those who used to play BF2: PR will not really like the same on the engine ArmA2 ... Horrible view and inconvenient control character system will kill any good feeling from the game.

BF2 is just as unrealistic if not more than BC2.

The name "Project Reality" originates from making BF2 more realistic, just like PR would for BC2 as well if it was possible to mod.

At least here in Norway you can buy stuff in cash on delivery.
This means that you give the shop your address, and then pay for the game at the post office.

Yes, I do want games to be more ambitious, to over-reach spectacularly,
to be more open and vibrant and mad.

I played ArmA 1 for a long while, and got ArmA 2 on release. Played it for a good amount of time. I play BF2:PR and ArmA 2: ACE 2, good mixup.

No where near this so called 25 dollars lol

Steam is here to rape us again :P
Depends where you buy it from, in Finland for example we have very high VAT for everything, so games in Steam cost lot more here than if bought somewhere else. Not from 25 to 49 but still, difference is there.

New ArmA 2 players,
A word of advice.
Do not judge the game after 2 mins- and by no means judge it based on that crappy demo.

The game is huge and very complicated (virtually every key on your keyboard is mapped to something)

The game is very different from anything you've played before so it will feel strange.

Give the game a fair chance. It might take a while but soon you will realize the potential of this title.

For me, I can't play any other fps game. They all bore me within 5 mins.
