Most likely will, tho it doesnt feel 2 good buying something crappy/not so good to play a mod for it that ppl made for free, id better pay 60$ to the PR team than 40$ to BIS (or h/e that company is called).

Isn't that exactly what you did with BF2? :P Buy a bad game just for the mod.
And if you feel guilty for playing PR because it's free, just donate and you'll feel much better.

I found out about PR only after like 2 years I bought BF2, ofc I was like: "Howd they turn something so shitty into something so epicsum!?".

I was debating buying ARMA2 for a while. I am an old school operation flashpoint player and was in love with that game for many years. However when ARMA came out, I was just starting to get into PR and well PR just completely made me forget about ARMA. When I played the ARMA2 demo, I wasnt really all that impressed. It seemed like the same lousy AI, and lousy multiplayer.

But now that I see PR is coming to ARMA2? Oh you better believe Im buying it.

PR has chosen the best possible map choice for Arma2 mod, trust me, even BIS are going for a desert style map for the next release.

The reason they are doing this is because desert style maps run very very well in Arma2, I'd imagine that even a PC that falls even below Min specs could run an arma2 desert map.

Arma2 isn't a PC killer(don't expect an average PC to ramp up max settings etc, this game is future proof) as some would have you believe and it certaintly isn't a bad game, ignore the first reviews and please steert clear of the demo (it isn't good at all).

The game is patch 1.05 (5 patches since release) and has improved greatly. I think Arma2 on steam is like $25 and I'm sure any local shop would stock it for less, lets face it your likely to get years of gameplay from it and things will only get better as the technology does, Arma2 to a point is future proof as your PC gets better keep ramping up the settings

The Arma2 Airforce is being prepared, fuel have been checked, systems checked....

I think the Arma 2 community will be just fine and I think it will be the opposite. I see a lot of enthusiasm on here but i bet once some of you try and play arma 2 you may or may not be so excited.

Don't get me wrong, ArmA2 is fantastic and i love it, but it is completely different from BF2. I think the PR people will have a much harder time adapting to Arma 2 then our community will have adapting to PR. We are already used to tons of mods + ACE2, PR is simply just another mod that we can turn/off with the click of a button.
