question - is ArmA Voip working better since I played?

Hi boys, I played arma for a few weeks ages ago when it came out, but soon returned to PR-BF2 because of the bugs and that I didn't find a server I really liked, so ofc I'm so happy you boys are working on something that I'm sure I'll really enjoy.

one thing I really enjoy in BF2-PR is mumble, it really has helped me teamwork and fun skills

I know ArmA has a bloomin awesome VOIP system, really nice channel selection, however the local chat (which is like mumble positional) was always super quiet for people, has this been addressed in a patch since I played? (I could always hear people fine, but some people couldn't hear me, but others could) My mate said it was something to do with something called VON?

VON is still dodgy. Better use the all new arma 2 ts addon, its pretty good and requires TS3:

Arma2 TS works really well, it's what most people use these days...

Supports short & long range radios, radio channels, plus of course 3D positioning.

The VON works good too. Only issue is when you get a person who doesn't have the beta patch and a person who does talking to each other. Then they hear each other breaking up quite a lot.

Please note to use A2TS long range radios, you need ACE 2 in order to get the long range radios.

Helix has taken a look at the TS3 plugin already - and it looks like its a no go, as there is a lot of stuff hacked in there.

We will however be looking at incorporating a Mumble Plug in PR-Styley

I would like to know will Squad leaders be able to communicate with each other?
So it will be mumble for all? or something like BF2 Comms which can chat to other squad leaders?
