Hi,
Oktane blur remover now available for 1.62 retail and 1.62xxx betas. Already supported by PR & BattlEye General Info: This addon removes the blur shader which causes performance and headaches/sickness issues for people. It was created because BIS has not addressed the issues with the rotBlur shader which provides the whole screen blur effect. At low FPS, the issues in this shader make the game unplayable. Turning off Post Processing will fix it but then you lose some effects that are actually nice. This addon allows you to have the best of both worlds. Framerate Improvement: This modification substantially reduces the number of instructions in the rotBlur pixel shader, essentially making it do nothing, just short of removing it. (can't do that) It may increase performance installed compared to identical video settings with it not installed. Download: Index of /scripts/oktane/noblur => okt_noBlur_OA_retail_1.62.7z if you dont play PR with beta patch => for_OA_beta_builds/ if u play PR with Beta just add -mod=@okt_NoBlur to your PR shortcut More info & official thread: oktNoBlur - Signed Blur Remover Addon |

I finally got it.
This mod doesnt remove the all screen blur effect, if you set PP to normal, high or very high. It simply decrease the motion blur on PP "low". It seems as if you already get all the "good" post processing effects on low. Sadly i cant get this mod working with pr. I tried retail without beta patches and the beta version with the proper newest beta patch, but i will still get the motion blur. I can confirm no motion blur on PP "low" without PR, but something doesn't work right with PR+noBlur.. |

Haven't tried this mod with PR yet, although the RGG server doesn't seem to have the server key? | |

disable PP loose some good lighting effect ( explosion bloom/NVG Noise, glare, lens simulation)
That little addon try to reduce bad thing and keep good visual effect, but advanced lighting option would be good from BIS patch. in the file its write there is a bloom supressor, but didnt find how ATM |

I turned my PP effects on Very High, and I don`t see lens simulation, as you showed. Besides you are watching from a human eye, not camera, what lens sim you are talking?)
Glare is the same with and without postprocessing. NVG moise - almost imperceptible |
