Is it just me or the RGG server is removed from PR server list?

apparently we're having some server side issues atm. Don't know the details yet myself.

our ts and website are also down for some reason

It may be a issue with the servers connection to the internet, so no one can connect to any services that are being hosted on it. It happend around 7ish pm est and it came back up again and went down again. Sounds like a ddos attack but we can never be sure untill one of the higher ranked RGG members get in contact with the server provider.

The server is up, but I think it is suffering from instability.

Crashes have driven people to RIP of all places.
I think Rip had their last active admin in 2011.

PS. Should Non administrated servers be closed down so that people do not go and play on them ?

I restarted the server process. Seems stable at the moment.
Will try to figure out what caused that instability.

Well it seemed to work tonight. Too bad it was only 2 or 3 of us on at a time.

We need more folks in the U.S. I'm currently GMT -4 (Eastern/New York time) and usually just get on after work as all the EU folks are getting off. I'm up for playing usually anytime between 7 - midnight eastern time.

I agree. That's why I hardly play. I get off work at 6 or 7 PM and hardly anyone is on PR:ARMA2. And weekends are usually occupied by going out.

I'm in the same timzone as you and sometimes I get to play during prime but usually the server does have about 30 people around that time but it quickly dies as the amount of people leaving is much more than the people joining.

At the start of PR there were allot of americans but they were turned off due to the fact that there wasn't an american faction in PR untill recently. Atleast that's my felling on the western fan base. I'm not even a fan of the british military, you just get used to playing it.

Even tho I am canadian the american military is in canadian media much more than our own military. Also the canadian C7/C8 are just about identical to the american M16/M4 so to me its close enough to the american faction. Hopefully that will change soon.
