Can't replay to original post. So posting here...
Then I saw this title it felt like someone kicked me into balls... How someone could come up with this idea? HOW? Isn't enough 3,5min to organize? Few quotes: Quote:
Preparation time is over? Here is no need for you to rush into battle... You can stay at the base, have a discussion about your moves, drink tea or talk about the weather but it will cost you. Couple ideas how to improve this "preparation time":

That quib done, it seems you are already in the minority. Most who play PR:Arma2 are not in it to rush and twitch. You also seem to miss the point of the quote. The point, I believe, was not to have more time to socialize in base but to have less downtime, accidents and confusion once battle begins. | |

You mean most who *still* play Arma 2. Since most sane people who like some action just quit the game when they are forced into having no action. Not a lot of people are willing to give this game a chance just because it is more realistic than any other game. Then you are left with a lot of players who want to plan for 2 hours just to drive for 1 hour and then die 10 seconds after they reach their last waypoint. Of course I'm exaggerating here, but you get the idea. The UO community (or any other community) is not a representation of the general population of legal owners of Combined Operations.
As for the preparation time itself, I'll leave that for the original thread. |

Battle Preparation is the most vital part of any game. If a team can focus and collaborate properly (which most are now!) then it can be absolutely devastating for the opposing forces.
- FO Discussion and intelligent positioning - Proper packing and formation of assets while the vehicles are being fuelled - No more mad rush out of base with people being left behind, due to the mad grabbing of assets The best part is you can still rush out when the timer finishes, but this time be much more efficient as you have a direct objective to proceed to. (Capturing or setting up FO's as an example.) As a result, I don't see how your suggestion can improve game-play in any way, which is key to PR ARMA2. (Even if it is only for the insurgency side.) The OP was given an infraction for posting a suggestion/about a suggestion outside the suggestion forums and for his attitude.
