Some more great games tonight, thanks to everyone that has been turning out over the last few days for some high player-count tactical fun and of course not forgetting our die-hard regulars that have been populating the server over the last few months.

Bring on the next PR release!

This is something we are always considering, we did a LOT of tinkering pre-1.6 to get the server stable with high player counts and settled on 80 being the optimum number. Now that 1.6 is fully released we are re-evaluating server stability and that leaves the possibility of a slot number increase. Having said that, we have been having quite a few crashes lately.

On that note, if anyone notices any patterns or reasons for server crashes then by all means contact us on our website or TS, anything that helps us to improve up-time is valuable info that we want to hear.

In addition to Paintscratcher's comments can I also remind you all that PR is still a BETA.

We've noticed a few worrying things that may be bugs, and that we may need to investigate further on a populated server. Clearly, TG is the only fully populated server ar the moment!

So, don't be surprised if some of the Devs - most likely myself and Deadfast - ask for assistance in testing something. This may involve us (a) turning the sound down for all players, and (b) removing weapons from all players, so that you pay attention! Obviously we'll do this in liaison with TG admins so that they can restart a mission or whatever, and will announce what's happening in global chat. We will of course try to keep any disruption to a minimum - just enough to gather the data we need.

Should we need to test, your assistance would be very much appreciated, as a quicker resolution of any issues means less time to our next release

Dayum, the one day I want to play since like October, I can't get on the TG server due to being kicked. I think it's battleye, crappy anti cheats.

I doubt it's battleye. You should google your problem, find out why you're getting kicked. Shouldn't be hard to fix

If you have bought BAF on steam you have to reinstall it I believe. I got kicked on every server but reinstalling it should fix it.

Excellent effort guys, I'm sure that I speak for the majority when I say that we're happy to assist to improve things further.

Things definitely are looking up with the arrival of 1.6 and the corresponding increase in player numbers...

The Arma series will eventually dominate, maybe because everyone's PC will get better over time so everyone can play it

The PR BF2 mod is still evolving and has a lot of mileage in it yet. Don't knock it.
