Well, just had may third kill with 10 or more deaths.
Good game, are the birds triggered or random? Lik'en, the blurred head motion! Rather difficult to tell friend from foe in conventional forces. May more questions but I found a PR ARMA tutor. |

If you turn off Post Processing you can see better and it disables that motion blur.
Distinguishing friend from foe is pretty easy when you just look at the headgear. Russian helmets of Takistan are pretty distinct even from long distances. |

The motion blur is more realistic, being unable to instantly focus... guessing everyone has blur turned off...
PR should make the blur permanent and unchangeable. Friend and foe is mostly inexperience with the game. Nothing on the birds? |

I agree on the friend and foe identification being lack of experience, I had one time when I accidentally shot a Brit soldier from half a mile away with the LSW marksman, and it was a case of "Yeah I know it was my own bloke, but that was a bloody good shot :P"
The birds are random afaik, same as BF2 but more dense the motion blur isn't compulsory because it cuases headaches and nausea in some people |

In real life my eyes focus instantly where ever they point. There was a long discussion about post process effects in the BIS forums and most decided it was an unrealistic movie style gimmick.
Make sure you also have 'head bob' turned off in the game settings. It makes people sick. |

Congrats on getting some kills! As ar as the motion blur goes it's also a framerate killer. So many simply can't run it and get decent frames. I'll look for ya in game!

The game is a lot more clearer with the motion blur off, equaling more kills.
Still tons of stuff to learn. I'm reading the arma2 and arma2 oa manuals. The arma2 pr manual is very limited. Someone cant learn the game directly from the pr manual; huge gaps of missing information. For example, the medic entry - pr manual says to use the squad action key but there is no discussion prior of what/where the squad action key is. Also, the keyboard image at the beginning of the pr manual is at such a low resolution, that it is unreadable. I see this game surpassing bf2pr. |

PR manual is short tutorial based only on PR features.
You got only 4 keys in PR: personal menu key - T interaction menu key - Space recognition key and rear view in vehicles mostly you use just two personal menu is what you doing and affecting on you personally and interaction is for interacting with other players or items options is depending whit who or what you are trying to interact. For ArmA guide try to use this one. Hoping this will help you m8. |
