note
the -winXP commandline should be not needed for very long time 1st the games have profile in AMD.ATI crossfire profiles 2nd the -winXP commandline disables usage of DirectX9 Ex, which effectively means e.g. way slower alt-tabbing 3rd it was meant only for older drivers 4th the memory allocators and VRAM detection was fixed several times (tho probably ideal case here is wait for 1.60 as it was even improved after 1.59) ----- now one tip for i7 and Intel CPU owners if You know how and can do it easily try (or better to say do) this: DISABLE HyperThreading in BIOS! helps in most cases a lot against various stutter and performance issues |

SLI is causing an insane amount of flashing no matter what remedy I try. The only thing that works for me is to disable it. This is the only game that does not like my SLI 460's.
