Well, that was certainly faster than I thought. PR is going to start big, thanks BIS.
I could live without having Arma for a few months after the mod's release...but after reading this, bah. It's going be a long winter... |

Holy warp. First ever I could play online A2 and not feel the utter immersion breaking warping, at least with bots that were about 300-400m away;
There wasn't any PvP action going on so I could not test with humans. Could someone confirm that human players are neither warping anymore? Anyway, GJ BIS. A tad too late but better late then never... | |||

I was playing Warfare yesterday with a group of guys I know and neither them nor the AI were noticeably warping.

It works even with PR servers, but with some errors and a lot of crashes.

anyone tested with more then 20 players in pvp only?

Good news. But this doesnt mean total lag free games on servers that are runing hours with large amount of players because server fps will just drop and drop and once its starts geting close to 3fps you notice warping at close range caused by the cpu struggling. So for a total lag free game on large pvp you would have to have a time limit and work out the max amount of players server can hold and run lag free with in that time limit.
The more players there are the more the fps drops over time. Less players means longer lag free games. 2hours runing time of PR with 80 players was abit hard on the server fps last week from what i saw. |
